Despite a woefully poor run of results in all competitions, Manchester United had managed to overturn a 2-0 deficit in the Champions League with a 3-0 victory and had put in a commendable performance in their 2-0 away win vs West Ham United. United fans were therefore hoping the team could show the resilience of old and turn their game up vs Manchester City in the much-awaited Manchester Derby on March 25th.
As part of the buildup to the clash, City trainer Manuel Pellegrini took to the microphone to speak his mind on a few things, not the least of which included Yaya Toure and his first hat trick (vs Hull City), his opposite number, under-fire United coach David Moyes, and the team from the red half of Manchester – the Red Devils.
