The Norwegian striker missed one the easiest chances he will ever have as a Manchester City player in the dying moments of the game.

We all know that Erling Haaland is going to score a lot of goals for Manchester City, but this one he failed to score today will be remembered by fans all over the world as a major howler.

The game between Liverpool and Manchester City was coming close to its conclusion after goals by Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah, and Darwin Núñez had given the Reds a 3-1 lead. Julián Álvarez had scored the equalizer for the Citiziens after Alexander-Arnold's goal, and while time was running out of the game, Haaland's miss will not go overlooked by fans and experts who expected more from the Norwegian player.

With less than a minute left on the clock, Haaland found a loose ball to tap into the back of the net, but his desire to find the back of the net backfired and saw him hit the crossbar with a hard left-footed shot that flew into the stands.

This was not the only miss for Haaland, who was criticized for his poor performance and for his lack of humility ahead of his first official game with the light blue and white side.
