Man City ended their pursuit of the Englishman after signing Erling Haaland, but another Premier League side are eyeing a move for the Spurs ace.

A year ago, Harry Kane's future at Tottenham was under tremendous doubt. The England superstar informed the club of his desire to leave north London after their disappointing 2020/21 campaign, with Manchester City having waged a full-on bid to sign the striker.

However, fast forward to today and the Cityzens have landed Erling Haaland while the Three Lions striker is happy at Spurs under new manager Antonio Conte. Despite this, interest in the 28-year-old still remains, and for obvious reasons.

Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann has publicly spoken of his fondness for Kane, with the German giants identifying the Tottenham star as the ideal man to replace Robert Lewandowski. Additionally, while Guardiola's side are no longer in for the Englishman, another Premier League giant is eyeing a swoop for the world-class goalscorer.

That club is none other than Chelsea, Spurs' bitter London rivals. The Blues are in dire need of an established striker, having sent Romelu Lukaku back to Inter Milan on loan after his dreadful campaign while Timo Werner could also be on his way out.

According to Bild reporter Christian Falk, Tuchel's side see Kane as a "very interesting" target but there is an understanding at Stamford Bridge that this would be an extremely difficult transfer to pull off. Bayern Munich are tipped to make a move for the Premier League ace next summer, and should the player turn down a contract extension, Spurs would likely favor a deal with the German giants over a domestic rival.

The striker, who turns 29 this month, has two years left on his deal. As mentioned earlier, he is currently happy at the club, mainly due to the arrival of Antonio Conte, with the highly-regarded Italian manager having led the club to a top four finish. Contract negotiations haven't begun but talks are expected to commence soon.
