The Uruguayan ace would put an end to all speculation about his future with an unexpected move to one of the top teams in the competition.

After a two-month wait since his final game in La Liga, things seem to be getting closer to a conclusion for Luis Suárez and his transfer saga.

With his future being linked with clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, River Plate, Toluca, Nacional, and even Ajax, the Uruguayan ace seems to have made up his mind and apparently, the MLS will be his next destination.

The speculation about his future had went on for weeks, with the player failing to secure a deal with River Plate or Nacional, the South American clubs that had an edge over the rest of his suitors. Nevertheless, MLS analyst and former player Taylor Twellman has shed light on his next move, leaving most of his fans shocked.

Twellman's reply on Twitter sparked all the rumors, as journalist Klaus German revealed the footballer was "closer than ever" to playing in the MLS. Twellman's reply left no doubt about which team he would be joining.

If this mmove is confirmed, Luis Suárez would be joining the top title contender in the MLS, who still have a Designated Player spot to fill. Not only that, but the Uruguayan would team up with Gareth Bale, Carlos Vela, and Giorgio Chiellini, who's had a few problems with Suárez in the past.

If you rewind back to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, you will remember that Suárez tried to take a bite off Chiellini's shoulder, who tried to hit back by throwing an elbow to the player's face. The incident caused quite a stir around the world and ended with Suárez being banned from all football activity for four months.

Both players have admitted their wrongdoings in the past and they even forgave each other for what happened back then, and as if fate had wanted it that way, the duo could end up teaming up to give the LAFC their first MLS title.
