The Blaugrana side have finally confirmed the agreement that will see the Polish ace joining the La Liga side.

Everyone had seen Robert Lewandowski wearing Barcelona's colors and even in the team's training sessions. Nevertheless, the official confirmation of the player's move to Camp Nou had not arrived...until today.

The Blaugrana side and Bayern München confirmed today the details of the contract between the Spanish side and the Polish striker, who has seen a mammoth buyout clause being included in his move to the La Liga club.

"FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich have arrived at an agreement for the transfer of Robert Lewandowski for a total of €45 million + €5 million in variables. The player will sign a contract with the Club for the next four seasons. The buyout clause has been set at €500 million," the brief press release on Barcelona's website revealed.

The footballer tried to agree terms with Bayern for an extended stay at Allianz Arena, but the team's policy about players over the age of 30 debunked any option for a multi-year contract.

Now, the Polish ace will become one of the top attractions in La Liga with one of the most popular teams in the world.

Here is Robert Lewandowski's first picture wearing the Blaugrana colors.

It is yet to be seen when the footballer will play his first match with the Blaugrana side, who are set to play a friendly match against Inter Miami on Tuesday evening.
