Jose Mourinho would like to see a genuine scorer emerge in his team; he will be against Felix Magath’s “savior tactics” in a special London derby.

Preview: Can Mourinho’s attackers break down Magath’s Fulham?

Felix Magath was only a few minutes away from seeing his side earn three points in the previous weekend. Nonetheless, he took a point from that match and he will perhaps be satisfied with the outcome. Magath has demanded at least six wins from his team in the remainder of the campaign. This is surely not one of the matches he looked at when he was trying to plot the wins he feels the side needs.

Fulham will be without the services of Kostas Mitroglu, Fernando Amorebieta and Damien Duff. Matthew Briggs’ availability is doubtful. Chelsea will be without Marco Van Ginkel. David Luiz is a slight doubt. Chelsea will be coming into this one on the back of a rather uninspiring (at least as far as the second half is concerned) performance against Galatasaray in midweek in the Champions League. Magath knows that Chelsea will be tired. He coached plenty of Champions League sides and he reminded the press of his experiences, according to Sky Sports:

"When a team has played in the Champions League, it is always an advantage. We are lucky that Chelsea have had such a long trip to Istanbul to play on Wednesday. It's a good situation for us.
I remember the situation - you have to stay at the airport, fly for a few hours and then play the game at night.

Players can't sleep so well and are tired and then they have to spend more time at the airport. It bothers the players a lot.

It gives us a chance. Chelsea are favourites, everyone knows that, but we'll try to fight and make a fast game. If we pressurise Chelsea then we have a good chance to win the game.”

This will be Magath’s first game at Craven Cottage. Will the fan of the club act as a twelfth man? Or will Chelsea simply be too hard to handle for them?
