In their quest to bring the French star back to Turin, the Bianconeri will need to offload some deadweight players.

With Paul Pogba officially saying his goodbyes to Manchester United, many reports in Italy are really pushing for a return of the French star to Turin.

The 2018 World Cup winner has not enjoyed the success he and many fans would have expected upon returning to Old Trafford, and there are some Serie A followers and pundits who believe he just might be able to rediscover his best form upon making a return to the Bianconeri this summer.

Pogba has not been offered a contract extension with the Red Devils, meaning that he is technically available as a free agent. That means that Juventus will not have to pay for him to bring him in, but they are facing stiff competition from the likes of Real Madrid and PSG.

One player that reports from Italy claim that La Vecchia Signora are keen on shipping out to free up space is Adrien Rabiot. The 27-year-old has hardly impressed during his time in Turin since arriving on a free from PSG in 2019, and there are quite a few Bianconeri supporters who certainly will not be sad to see him go elsewhere this summer.

Juventus are apparently hoping to sweeten the pot with Manchester United by offering up the French international for a reported $16-21 million (€15-20 million).

As to whether the Red Devils even opt to take a punt on him remains to be seen, but it is quite clear that Juventus are highly keen on bringing Pogba back six years after his departure as they still feel that the 29-year-old can help them recover after a frustrating couple of years.
