The Stars and Stripes begin their preparations for the CONCACAF Nations League and for the FIFA World Cup against a tough African rival.

The world of football will still have some interesting news for fans around the globe despite all major leagues have concluded. One of those interesting games to keep an eye on will be taking place tonight, as the USMNT get ready to face Morocco in a friendly match set to help both teams prepare for the upcoming FIFA World Cup and, in the USMNT's case, for the first round of games in the CONCACAF Nations League.

The team led by Gregg Berhalter will make it to TQL Stadium in Cincinnati trying to give fans a joy after being beaten by Costa Rica in their last official match. The Yanks have only lost two games in 2022, both with similar two-nil scores, and it will be up to the coach and his team to leave a better impression in front of their fans than the one they left in their previous outing.

The USMNT have called up some of their best footballers for this match, which include Christian Pulisic, Tim Weah, Weston McKennie, and Tyler Adams. Added to that, has included some youngsters in his roster to add fresh talent to the team. Names such as Joe Scally (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Malik Tillman (Bayern München), and Haji Wright (Antalyaspor) could be making their debut in a game for the Stars and Stripes.

On the other side of the pitch, Morocco are eager to face the North Americans after being paired up against Canada in their FIFA World Cup group. Coach Vahid Halilhodzic has identified certain similarities between the Canadians and the USMNT, which he will try to use when the World Cup comes. The Atlas Lions made it to the quadrennial competition for the first time since 1998 after beating DR Congo in the CAF playoffs.

The African side will feature some of their most talented players available, including Sevilla's goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, PSG ace Achraf Hakimi, Wolves' defender Romain Saiss, and strikers Munir El Haddadi and Youssef En-Nesyri, both of them playing for Sevilla.
