Yet another London derby is set to take place at Stamford Bridge; this one will see two sides separated by 31 points take on each other.

Preview: Can Chelsea overtake London rivals Arsenal in the table?

If Manchester City fails to beat Tottenham and Chelsea wins their match by a margin of two goals, the Blues will find themselves heading the Barclays Premier League tomorrow. Standing in front of them will be Sam Allardyce’s West Ham United. Most perhaps feel that West Ham do not have a chance against Chelsea. However, Spurs has already won one London derby this season when they beat Tottenham.

Winston Reid is not match fit while Mohamed Diame and Joe Cole are both doubtful for this one for West Ham. Andy Carroll is finally fit enough to feature for West Ham and might do so against Jose Mourinho’s side. Marco Van Ginkel and Fernando Torres are out for Chelsea. Allardyce knows about the challenge ahead of him and his side but is not ready to surrender just yet according to Sky Sports.

“We can't go to Chelsea and think that we're not going to get a result. When all said and done, West Bromwich Albion should have beaten Chelsea this season.

In a one-off game, if you play to your best and Chelsea aren't functioning at their best, then you can get to the end result like West Brom did. It can be achieved at any one time in any one game and we've got to believe that it can be achieved."

As Sky Sports found out, he is also in awe of Chelsea’s defense:

“The defensive unit has become so difficult to breakdown again which shows that Jose has been concentrating on that.”

Chelsea’s new signing Mohamed Salah is unlikely to feature as he has not trained under his new manager yet. Salah was perhaps bought as a replacement for the departing Juan Mata. Mourinho knows his side has enough firepower in the likes of Oscar, Eden Hazard and the evergreen Samuel Eto’o to win just about any game. West Ham’s chances of an upset are very little but in a one-off game, as Allardyce puts it, anything might happen.
