The American footballer has fallen down the team's pecking order, and with the FIFA World Cup in mind, he has asked for a way out of his current situation.

Enough is enough for Christian Pulisic, and after the lowest amount of games played as a starter since he joined Chelsea, the player is reportedly ready to seek a way out of his current predicament.

According to a report by The Guardian, Chelsea is expected to see a large number of players leaving the squad this summer. The list of names includes some that have already been revealed, such as Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, César Azpilicueta or Marcos Alonso. But that list could also include the American footballer and a couple more players from the attacking side.

The report by The Guardian states that "there are doubts regarding Ziyech, Werner, and Pulisic." According to the team's stats, Pulisic is the player with the lowest number of minutes among these players. In fact, the American footballer has the lowest amount of minutes played among all the attackers on Chelsea's roster.

Only seven players within Chelsea's squad have played less minutes than Pulisic, which is what has pushed the footballer to ask for his exit. The report also adds that Chelsea may be inclined to negotiate with any team that meets their initial €60M valuation( around $63M), although there have not been any official offers to hire the footballer.

With Pulisic being an integral part of the USMNT squad that will be playing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, it is not a surprise to see him trying to earn more playing time. Nevertheless, only time will tell if his wishes come true and Chelsea are ready to let him leave.
