AC Milan coach Clarence Seedorf is effusive in his admiration of the club's imminent signing, Chelsea's Michael Essien.
The new boss has been at the San Siro for barely a week now but is keen to rebuild the history-rich club, adding Essien the Bison to a list of crafty (and free) Milan signings this season such as Keisuke Honda and Adil Rami.

“I know him very well”, Seedorf told Milan Channel about the Ghanaian.
“He is a great player who has great personality. A man and a warrior, he owns strong desire to prove himself before the World Cup. He can do well in the two positions in front of the defensive line. My idea is to use him in the middle of the field.”
The January window has seen an exodus of underused stars from Stamford Bridge with Juan Mata joining rivals United, Kevin De Bruyne to Wolfsburg and now Essien to Milan.
