Juventus are away to Parma in the Serie A on November 2, 2013.Preview: Parma looking to cause another upset at the expense of Juventus

Marco Parolo's strike at the death gave the Crusaders a 3-2 victory over AC Milan and Roberto Donadoni’s men would be hopeful of causing another upset when they face defending champions Juventus at home.

Despite their heroics against Milan last week, Parma are currently 11th in the league table and have won just two in their last five games. In their last outing against Genoa, Donadoni’s men fell to an Alberto Gilardino strike on the 57th minute, as Parma lost 1-0 to I Rossoblu.

However they will be taking confidence from the fact, that Parma are on a three game winning streak at home and will be hoping to keep the momentum going when they face a very strong Juventus side. The Yellow and Blues have fared well against Juventus at the Stadio Ennio Tardini and the past two meetings between the two sides at the venue has resulted in a draw, a result which would be a blessing for Parma this time around.

Juventus’ last victory against the hosts at their backyard came back in 2010, when a Paolo Castellini own goal earned all three points for the bianconeri . Juve have responded well after they lost their first match of the season, when they surrendered a 2-1 lead in a matter of five minutes. Consecutive victories against Genoa and Catania have kept Juve only five points adrift of league leaders Roma who are yet to drop a point in the league this season.

Antonio Conte will be looking for inspiration from summer singing Carlos Tevez who has been instrumental since making his switch to Turin from Manchester City. The Argentinean has found the next six times in the opening ten Serie A games and among others has earned the praise of Juventus legend and 2003 Ballon D’or winner Pavel Nedved.

"He's a phenomenon," Nedved told reporters.

"For what he puts on the field, he reminds myself and [coach Antonio] Conte of our times.

"When we got him [from City], we knew we could move forward with security. Carlitos is a phenomenon; we never had any doubts [about him], and the results are confirming why.

"He is leader. Could he play with us in our great Juve team? Certainly: he's a champion. He's irresistible when he gets to chase the ball: he never gives up."

Saturday’s meeting between the two clubs will also see Sebastian Giovinco making a return to Stadio Ennio Tardini. Formica atomic as he is nicknamed, spent two seasons at Parma and quickly became a fan favourite. His impressive performances urged Juventus to resign their academy product for a fee of 11 million euros who will be in contention to line-up against his former side.
