With Liverpool having booked their ticket to play in the UEFA Champions League final, the conversation will shift to find out which team they will be facing in the tournament's title clash. But for Mohamed Salah, there is no doubt about which club he wants to play against.
Speaking in a post-match interview with BT Sport, the Egyptian player did not hesitate to reply Rio Ferdinand's question about his would-be rival on May 28, and according to the African footballer, he would love to have a rematch against the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners, Real Madrid.
That loss, where Salah was only able to play 30 minutes due to an injury caused by Sergio Ramos, is the reason behind the player's desire to face Los Blancos.
Here is how Salah responded to Rio Ferdinand's question. The player's reply begins after the 4:30 minute mark (Image might be geo-restricted).
"It's great to be in the final for the third time in five years."
