Given Zinedine Zidane's denial and Antonio Conte's unavailability, the French side has targeted two new alternatives for their coaching spot.

PSG's hierarchy is yet to make a decision regarding Mauricio Pochettino's position as first-team coach, but before they run out of time to name a potential replacement, reports suggest that the club has identified two more candidates for the job.

Sources close to the team hint that Pochettino will be given a chance to keep his job, but the option of watching him leave is still there, which has prompted the team's hierarchy to keep alternatives available for the first-team's hotseat.

The most well-known of these options across the globe is that of former Germany coach Joachim Löw, who is out of a job since he left Die Mannschaft at the end of the team's performance in the 2020 UEFA Euro. Löw is seen as a suitable option due to his impressive job with the German side, which saw him conquer the 2014 FIFA World Cup as head coach. Added to that, his ability to handle an dressing room with many egos is an added bonus to his capabilities.

The other option mentioned in recent reports involves a familiar face to PSG fans and who has already been named as an option to become the French side's tactician: Thiago Motta. The former midfielder achieved a legend-like status due to his years with the club, and judging his work with Serie A's Spezia, his abilities could be an interesting asset for PSG if they needed to change their manager.

Be that as it may, the club has made a decision not to speak on this matter until the season comes to an end, something that will take place by the end of the month.
