With Thiago Alcantara, Paulinho and Simon Mignolet all linked with moves away from their respective sides, here is a look at players we might see moving to England in the coming days.

Marouanne Fellaini to Arsenal

The Belgium international has been quite a phenomenal player for Everton for the past few seasons. Apart from a few rare moments of madness, the midfielder is the kind of player any manager would love to have in his squad. Excellent ball control, aerial ability and a good scoring average for the midfielder, Fellaini has been hotly linked with a move to Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger is believed to be a big admirer of the midfielder who might also be considering leaving Goodison Park following the departure of David Moyes who was also initially linked with a move for him. However, it appears that Arsenal could win the race for the player’s signature who in past has declared his desire to feature in the Champions League on a regular basis. Arsenal are in dire need of an enforcer in the midfield and Fellaini is all that they need in the middle of the park.

Gonzalo Higuain to Arsenal

During his time at Real Madrid, the Argentine international was largely known for his minutes to goals ratio. However, after declaring his desire to leave in order to get a fresh start, Higuain has attracted a lot of interest from the likes of Arsenal and Juventus.

The Gunners have been keeping tabs on the striker for quite some time and see him as an excellent partner to Olivier Giroud. However, it remains to be seen if Higuain would eventually land at the Emirates Stadium largely due to the fact that Juventus are also in the hunt.

The reigning Serie A champions guarantee the striker game-time and trophies on a regular basis, something that Arsenal have struggled with in the past few years.

Simon Mignolet to Liverpool

With Pepe Reina fervently linked with a move to Barcelona following Victor Valdes’ decision to not to renew his contract at Camp Nou, Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, sees the Sunderland shot-stopper as an excellent replacement. Indeed, it was Mignolet’s phenomenal performances which resulted in the Black Cats stay above the relegation zone last season.

The Belgian international is arguably one of the best keepers in the country at the moment and if his performances from last season are anything to go by with, a move to Liverpool is definitely a well-deserved one. Latest reports suggest that the player is nearing a move to Anfield and one can see just why Rodgers is so keen on having him in the squad for next season.

Thiago Alcantara to Manchester United

The young Spaniard is currently on cloud nine after his hat-trick helped Spain Under-21 retain their Under-21 European Championship title at the expense of Italy. Considered to be the heir of Xavi Hernandez at Barcelona, the young midfielder has been hotly linked with a move to United where he has already been guaranteed regular playing time. A calculations mistake on part of Barcelona means that the player won’t cost United a lot of money. If the Catalonian giants are unable to convince the player that he has a future at the club, a move to United could eventually happen. Moreover, with the retirement of Paul Scholes, United need a midfielder who can fill in his boots and Thiago Alcantara may be the only one who can do just that.

Paulinho to Tottenham Hotspur

The Brazil international is one of the hottest commodities in South American football at the moment. A pure box-to-box midfielder with an eye for a goal, the Corinthians midfielder is exactly the kind of player Spurs need at the moment. Scott Parker has not been able to replicate the form from his West Ham days and if the London-based club signs this young midfielder, Andre Villas-Boas will have quite a player on his roster.
