There doesn't seem to be room for both shot-stoppers in PSG's ranks beyond this season.

Throughout the season, Mauricio Pochettino has done his best to balance duties between Keylor Navas and new arrival Gianluigi Donnarumma, with the duo effectively splitting matches down the midlde.

So far Navas, 35, who won a total of 12 titles with Real Madrid, including three consecutive Champions League titles, has featured in 23 matches for Les Parisiens, while Donnarumma, a EURO 2020 winner with Italy, has featured in 22.

Donnarumma came under fire for his poor showing during the second leg of PSG's Champions League tie, which resulted in Les Parisiens being dumped out of the competition at the hand of Navas's former side.

In addition, there have been numerous reports about Navas not being impressed about sharing the no. 1 spot with 23-year-old Donnarumma, and has been quoted as making comments regarding changing the situation.

Meanwhile, a report recently emerged linking Donnarumma with a shock move back to AC Milan - a rather unrealistic proposition considering the way he departer, leaving a sour taste in Rossoneri fans' mouths, plus the fact that Mike Maignan has quickly grown into a fan favorite with his strong showings for Stefano Pioli's side.

However, today, it's now emerged that one of these shot-stoppers could be moving on at the end of this season, especially after some comments Pochettino made in his press conference following PSG's recent win over Angers.

"[Sharing duties] has been good between them, but the future will surely be different," he noted.

"It's clear that both would like to play much more than they have had the opportunity to do."

These comments have naturally sparked speculation as to whether one of these players will be on the move this summer, as clearly Pochettino doesn't feel that it's a realistic proposition for both to be rotated next year.
