Another weekend's action in the Bundesliga is upon us and the battle a both halves of the table is expected to continue.

For the tenth season running, the charge to determine the winner of the Bundesliga is expected to be a formality and, this weekend, Bayern Munich will aim to move a step closing to extending their record of winning the competition once more. Against all odds, the Bavarians were kicked out of the UEFA Champions League for the season season running, succumbing to Villarreal in a 2-1 aggregate defeat. This Sunday, Julian Nagelsmann's side will travel to regelation-threatened Arminia Bielefeld with the hopes of returning to winning ways.

A day prior to that, title rivals Borussia Dortmund will lock horns with Wolfsburg as they look to keep the pressure on the league leaders. Die BVB have accumulated 60 points after 29 outings and trail Bayern by nine points. With a handful of games left to play, there is still a slim chance that they could pull off a last minute upset provided other results go in their favor.

On the contrary, Wolfsburg's season is all but over, with their battle for a European spot being as complicated as ever. The Wolves sit in 13th place with only 34 points to show for this season. Last weekend, they ended a run of three successive defeats with an emphatic 4-0 home win over Arminia and will seek to carry on from there.

On the subject of wins and runs, RB Leipzig will go to Bayer Leverkusen with the expectation of extending their unbeaten streak and consolidating their top-four spot. Since losing to Bayern Munich at the beginning of February, the Red Bulls have gone on a 15-game unbeaten streak. In that, they have not lost a single league game in their last eight appearances and have also qualified for the semi-finals of the Europa League.

For Leverkusen, the objective will be to secure a favorable result to extend their unbeaten streak to four. The BayArena outfit come into the game on the back of a disappointing 0-0 draw with Bochum, having won the previous two against Wolfsburg and Hertha respectively.
