The team led by Rigobert Song bounced back after Algeria had leveled things with a well-placed header header by Ahmed Touba

Cameroon will return to a final stage of the FIFA World Cup after missing out on the 2018 edition, and they managed to earn their ticket to play in Qatar in the most spectacular way possible.

The Indomitable Lions had taken the game against Algeria to extra time, when a header by Ahmed Touba seemed to end their hopes for success. Nevertheless, Algeria's time-consuming antics backfired and gave Rigobert Song's team a chance to claim the World Cup ticket, something they did not waste.

As the game entered the final minute of stoppage time, Cameroon transformed a long ball into a scoring chance. Michael Ngadeu headed the ball into Algeria's box only to find Karl Toko Ekambi there, ready to drill the ball past Rais M'Bolhi's net.
