Speaking in a popular Spanish radio show, one of Joan Laporta's main men talked about La Pulga's potential comeback.

There has been a lot of talk surrounding Messi's potential return to Camp Nou, and while there are no clear signs of such a thing taking place in the near future, one of Joan Laporta's advisors left a window of opportunity open for Messi's comeback.

Speaking in El Larguero, Barcelona advisor Enric Masip discussed the club's alleged intention to bring Messi back from his tumultuous spell at Parc des Princes. Reports began to emerge last week after Messi was booed by PSG fans in a Ligue 1 game, and Masip decided it was time to set the record straight.

Messi's return? Nothing is impossible, but there has been no indication whatsoever from the club. Despite our economic situation, the club is till working out formulas to keep adding players, and Barça should always try to sign the best footballers out there," Masip stated.

The advisor went on to discuss the potential signing of Erling Haaland, and as with Messi's case, it seems that Los Culés will really need to find alternative to hire some of the biggest names in the world of football.

"It will be tough to bring him here, but it is not impossible. We would need to work many things out for that to happen. In that case, as with Messi, all I can tell you is what president Laporta said: there will be signings, but for that to happen, we will need to let some of our players leave,"Masip added.

While Masip seemed optimistic about the club's chances to sign Haaland or Messi, he was a bit more realistic when he came to talk about Ousmane Dembelé's future.

"His contract extension? The player has not spoken to us and there have been no negotiations. Barcelona have not entered negotiations with him after his last snub. All I can say is that he is a decisive player and I believe it is a good thing for Xavi to use him while he is thinking about his next move," the advisor concluded.
