The Englishman delivered a masterclass as Spurs run away from Etihad with three massive points.

Man City were left to curse their stars after conceding a late Harry Kane goal in Saturday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur. The Citizens were on course to sharing spoils with the North Londoners but were denied at the death just moments after equalizing from the penalty spot.

Harry Kane was a thorn in the side of the league leaders from start to finish, with his first major contribution being a pass to Heung-min Son to set up Dejan Kulusevski for the game's opener inside the first four minutes. However, parity was restored before the break, with Ilkay Gundogan slotting home his fifth goal of the season by capitalizing on a goalkeeping blunder by Hugo Lloris.

The 'Kane Show' was far from over as the English striker - who was a subject of transfer interest by City at the beginning of the season - will combine with Son for Spurs' second of the night, side-footing his striking partner's delivery past Ederson. The attacker had the chance to seal the win early on but, instead, drew a point blank save from City's shotstopper. Kane then thought he had eased the pressure on his side, getting onto a pass from Kulusevski's and slotting the ball past Ederson. However, the goal was ruled out after the Video Assistant Referee revealed that Kulusevski was offside in the buildup.

A controversial spot-kick went the way of Man City in the second minute of additional time and the league leaders thought they had salvaged a point after Riyad Mahrez rifled his effort into the top right corner. But they were handed the heartbreak just three minutes later with Harry Kane nodding home Kulusevski's cross to steal all the points for Spurs.
