According to a report by The Telegraph, Pogba has paused any negotiations regarding his future until the end of the season so that he can focus on being fit to play and helping the team. The player's inner circle has suggested that Pogba intends to become a free agent when the campaign comes to an end, and if that happens, Pogba would be willing to hear offers from other leagues...and from other English clubs.
The report by The Telegraph states that Pogba would turn down offers from Juventus, PSG, or Real Madrid to keep playing in the Premier League if the right offer from an EPL club got to his hands. The only detail he would need to keep himself playing in the English top-flight would be to keep his weekly wages of $312,000, which would need to be paid by the club interested in his services.
One more issue to consider is that Pogba has named Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo as key to his future, which would also force Manchester United to keep them around if they are interested in offering an extension to the Frenchman. Nevertheless, the player will most likely wait until the end of the season to see if the club earns a spot in next season's UEFA Champions and finally come clean about his immediate future.
Pogba has played 17 games across all competitions for Manchester United, scoring two goals and handing out nine assists.
