Bochum came back from a goal by Robert Lewandowski to defeat the league leaders 4-2 in one of the biggest Bundesliga upsets in recent memory.

It was far from regular business for most of the Bundesliga big names with some of the latest round of matches producing rather bizarre results. The most notable outcome manifested inside the Vonovia Ruhrstadion where Bochum defeated Bayern Munich 4-2 in what amounts to the German top-flight league's upset of the season.

Robert Lewandowski had put the Bavarians in front with his 25th goal of the season early on, but the game was turned on its head in spectacular fashion, with the hosts scoring four first-half goals to seal their fate ahead of the second half. The result was welcomed by Bayern's league rivals as Borussia Dortmund will reduce the initial nine point-gap to six after beating Union Berlin 3-0 in their trip away.
