The rivalry between the teams based in Milan could have a lot to do with the winner of the domestic title. That, and more, in this preview.

The Italian top-flight returns to action with quite a few matches that will turn the heads of football fans around the world. This league is known for having some of the most intense matchups in the globe, and this weekend will not be an exception with one of the most famous derbies taking place in the Italian Serie A.

The game between bitter rivals Inter and Milan will be one of those you really need to keep an eye on, as league leaders Inter host Milan with four points between them in the battle to win the title and with Inter with a game in hand. A positive result for Milan would tighten things between these teams and would also give Napoli a fighting chance, but a win for Inter could give Simone Inzaghi's side some breathing space and would increase their chances of winning back-to-back crowns.

Elsewhere in the league, Juventus will put to test their new signings, as Dusan Vlahovic prepares to wear Juve's colors for the first time since he completed his switch in the past days. Other clubs to keep an eye on are Roma and Atalanta, who are inmersed in a battle for the top five and with Mou's men also thriving after their winter signings hit the ground running and have helped them bounce back to keep track of the leading pack.

These are the main talking points and more stuff to keep in mind before the ball starts moving in Serie A pitches.
