The club have confirmed that the Dutch footballer will initially join Everton on a loan deal.

Donny Van de Beek will be off to a fresh start with another Premier League team after joining Everton in a high-profile loan deal this Monday.

The Dutch footballer had been frozen out by coaches Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United, but Frank Lampard's arrival to Everton made things easier for the former Ajax midfielder. Van de Beek will join the Toffees on a loan deal until the end of the season, but plans to negotiate an extended stay are reportedly in the works.

The player has already enjoyed his first training session under Frank Lampard's orders, but before that happened, he left a message for all Everton fans.

Van de Beek has only played fourteen games for Manchester United this season, racking up 380 minutes on those games. He has only completed the whole 90 minutes in two matches of the ongoing campaign, which are some of the factst that urged him to seek for pastures new.
