The Dutch footballer is desperate to earn the amount of playing time he lacks at Man United, and two struggling English teams could offer him a way out.

Manchester United fans have been disappointed with Donny Van de Beek's role at Old Trafford, and since he is surplus to the team's requirements, the Red Devils and the player himself are determined to end their relationship before the winter transfer window shuts down.

With that in mind, the club has finally agreed to let him leave on a loan deal with no buyout clause included, since the Red Devils' hierarchy still believes he has something to offer to the team. The player's supposed destination would be Crystal Palace, where coach Patrick Vieira has shown interest in his services.

As per reports in England, the middle man between Manchester United and Palace was none other than Dennis Bergkamp himself. The Dutch legend is a close friend of Vieira, while he is also the father of Van de Beek's girlfriend. Bergkamp was reportedly key to convince Vieira about Van de Beek's skills, which saw Vieira asking his bosses for the midfielder's signing.

But just when things seemed to go as planned for the Dutch midfielder, a late suitor has stepped up trying to lure him away from Selhurst Park. The team in question is Everton, who have gotten in the way after Frank Lampard was appointed as the new Toffees' head coach.

Apparently, Lampard is a big fan of Van de Beek's skills, and knowing that he has no place in Manchester United's regular lineups, he is willing to open up a spot for him in his tactics to help him return to the form he showed at Ajax, where he made his breakthrough as a professional footballer and what got him his deal with the Red Devils.

Van de Beek's hours at Old Trafford seem to be numbered, and it only seems like a matter of which team comes up with the better offer for Manchester United, since the Red Devils have made it clear that they will not include a buyout clause in any of the potential loan deals to these clubs.

The Dutch player has only been able to play 69 minutes of Premier League football this season in eight appearances as a substitute, scoring one goal. Either way, both Premier League teams eager to sign him believe they can turn around his fortunes and prove to the world he can thrive in this league. Only time will tell where he will wind up.
