After losing their first match in the league last week, Barcelona will want to make sure they get back to winning ways against Osasuna.

Barcelona tasted defeat last week against Real Sociedad in a match that not many would have expected them to lose. After going up 0-2 within the first 25 minutes, both Barcelona and neutral fans would have expected a blowout in favor of the Blaugrana.

Little did everyone know that Real Sociedad would do something no one has managed to do this season in La Liga.

A red card for Gerard Pique did not make the task any easier, but with a man advantage and down 1-2, Sociedad rallied the troops and managed to grab a 90th minute goal to give them the very shocking 3-2 victory over Tito Vilanova's side.

The world was normal again. Barcelona had finally lost a match, in a situation where no one would have expected it.

Their mid-week match against Malaga was also a questionable match, considering Malaga managed a 2-2 draw at the Nou Camp in the first leg. Questions were starting to be asked. Could Barcelona find themselves out of the Copa del Rey at the hands of Malaga?

For those who dislike Barcelona, they will not have been happy considering Messi and company managed a 2-4 victory on Thursday, putting them through to the next round.

With their place in the Copa del Rey already guaranteed, Osasuna is the next hurdle for Barcelona, although they may not be the biggest of hurdles.

The visitors have claimed four points from their previous two matches, with a goalless draw against Real Madrid along the way.

Given Real Madrid's amount of talent, and Osasuna's current form, a draw is a great result, but playing at the Nou Camp against Barcelona will be a completely different ball game.

Prediction

Barcelona's defeat last week against Real Sociedad will have been quickly forgotten within the team. Their 2-4 victory over Malaga mid-week should be good enough evidence that the Blaugrana did not dwell on last weeks result.

With Osasuna coming to town, Barcelona will have a good opportunity to enjoy a more relaxed match against one of the leagues worst teams.

As they are currently in a relegation battle, Osasuna will more than likely not enjoy themselves on their visit to the Nou Camp.

No one expects them to grab a point, let alone win, so they do not really have much to lose. Vilanova's side will need to make sure they know what they are up against, without losing respect for their opponent.

An average performance from the Blaugrana should be good enough for them to see off Osasuna in front of their fans at the Nou Camp.

Barcelona 3-0 Osasuna
