Another round of Ligue 1 matches concluded with a few surprising results changing the outlook of the table once more.

Another gameweek in the French Ligue 1 one concluded with Paris Saint-Germain mantaining their status as the leaders on the chart. Mauricio Pochettino's men secured a 3-1 victory over Saint-Etienne on Sunday afternooon although the result was marred by a gruesome injury picked up by star attacker Neymar Jr. The Brazilian attacker was carried off the field at Stade Geoffery Guichard on a stretcher after twisting his ankle following an awkward landing and is now expected to be on the treatment table for a number of weeks.

Elsewhere, Nice hit a snag in their pursuit to rival Paris Saint-Germain in the race for the league title by falling to a defeat against lowly-ranked Metz. Christophe Galtier's men suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss at home, falling 14 points behind Les Parisians in the process. The pair are set to met at Parc des Princes in a crunchy matchday 16 affair. In the meantime, Rennes ascended to second on the league log with their 2-0 win over Lorient while Marseille also climbed into the top four by defeating Troyes 1-0 at home.

Lyon managed to record their first back-to-back win in the league since September by seeing off Montpellier while defending champions Lille were held to another disappointing 1-1 draw with Nantes. Without further ado, here are the main talking points after Matchday 15 in the French Ligue 1.
