Time seems to be running out for the Norwegian boss at Manchester United, but some of his players stepped up to confront angry fans after their loss today.

Another weekend has gone by and things do not seem to be changing at Manchester United. Their 4-1 loss to Watford earlier today has caused fans to fume over the team's current state, and while most of the team's supporters believe Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to be blamed for the team's poor form, two of his players stepped up and asked their fans to take it against those on the pitch.

The first one of Manchester United's players to defend their boss was none other than Bruno Fernandes, and he did not wait to be in the tunnels to do so. As the team approached to wave at the fans that made it all the way to Vicarage Road, Fernandes urged their supporters not to boo Solskjaer. Instead, he asked them to take it against the footballers as the Norwegian coach apologized to those in the stands.

Then, during the post-match conferences, David De Gea admitted that the players' form was truly poor during the game, which is why fans should vent their frustration against them and not against the under-fire coach.

Despite Fernandes and De Gea's support, it is hard to overlook that the team seems to have lost its way recently, only being able to collect four points in the Premier League since September 25. Added to that, the Red Devils have the third worst defensive unit after conceding 21 goals, with only Norwich and Newcastle (27 goals each) having worse numbers.
