Where to watch World Cup Qualifiers and International Friendlies for October 2012.

Brazil 2014 LogoThere will be 2 rounds of important world cup qualifiers in the next 5 days. The first round kicks off on Friday, October 12.

Below is a list of the fixtures that will be broadcast live in the USA. As listings can change without notice, we do suggest you verify with your local network. If you are interested in listings outside the USA, please click on the Fixture link for global tv schedules.

In European World Cup Qualifying, we will highlight a few matches for you to watch:

Russia vs Portugal
Portugal plays their toughest match yet of the group as they travel away to play a re-invigorated Russian side now managed by Fabio Cappello. Both teams have won both of their first 2 matches.

Armenia vs Italy
Italy travel away to Armenia, and can not afford to slip up having already dropped two points in Bulgaria.

Turkey vs Romania
Turkey started off disastrously with 2 straight losses in their group campaign, they will need to make up maximum points today at home.

Belarus vs Spain
Spain appear to be in cruise control as they dismantle all their opponents one by one. Expect no surprises today in Belarus, although trips to eastern Europe may prove some challenges for the Spaniards, as was shown in their most recent trip to Georgia, where they only won by 0-1 and very late in the game.

Currenty the table is very tight with 6 nations separated by 3 points. Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay are in trouble as the bottom the group and can no longer afford to drop points. All the 4 matches this Friday will be amazing games to watch, with Argentina vs Uruguay being the marquee match.

The United States travel away to Antigua & Barbuda and will need to secure maximum points as they have already dropped 4 unexpected points to an away defeat in Jamaica and an unexpected home draw against Guatemala. The group is tight with US, Jamaica and Guatemala all tied in first with 7 points.
