Arsenal will look to bounce back from their first defeat of the season over the weekend. A home match against Olympiakos should give Arsene Wenger's side the chance to get back on the right track.
A defeat against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday brought back memories of the suspect defensive line that has haunted Arsenal for some time. Two mental lapses on the defensive side of the ball handed Chelsea an important away victory while also handing Arsenal their first defeat in the current English Premier League campaign.

Arsene Wenger was not happy with the defeat on Saturday, but he is confident that his side can bounce back on Wednesday against Olympiakos.

"The players are focused and disappointed that we lost the game," said Wenger. They are still down of course, but we have a Champions League game in front of us at home and we want to put things right."

"It is about how we respond. I am impressed by the mentality of my team, but the mentality is as well about how you respond to disappointment. I am confident we will, but that is what we want to show tomorrow."

Having won their first match in France against Montpellier, Arsenal will be looking to make it two wins in as many matches in the Champions League campaign.

The Greek side didn't look great in their opening match against Schalke, but Arsene Wenger knows how difficult Olympiakos can be to break down.

"Olympiakos are already in a position where their backs are to the wall because they have lost at home and in this Champions League when you lose at home it is very difficult," said Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners will be without goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and About Diaby who are both out with an injury. Diaby picked up his injury after taking a shot on goal against Chelsea, having pulled a muscle in his thigh.

Mikel Arteta will also be a big question mark for Arsenal as he will face a fitness test before the match to see if he is fit to play.

For Olympiakos, they will be without Rafik Djebbour tomorrow against Arsenal. Having missed out on the match over the weekend, the Algerian still appears to be struggling with a thigh injury.

Under new head coach Leonardo Jardim, the Greek outfit will be hoping to grab some points at the Emirates, but it will not be easy.

"Our aim is to perform well," said Jardim. "We are not the favorites in this match, yet in football you never know what can be done."

Olympiakos will have to be extremely patient against Arsenal who will look to dictate the pace of the game. The longer the Greek side can keep Arsenal off the scoreboard, the more frustrated the home team will become, as well as their fans.
