Goals from Gabriel and Smith Rowe, and a heroic performance from Ramsdale, helped the Gunners temporarily climb to fifth in the table.

Arsenal kicked off Matchweek 10 with their early trip to Leicester, with the Gunners taking on Brendan Rodgers' tricky side at the King Power Stadium.

The north London giants entered this clash with an eight-game unbeaten run, and not only did the visitors stretch this to nine matches without defeat, but Arteta's side also picked up the crucial three points they needed.

An early set-piece goal from Gabriel gave Arsenal the lead before Emile Smith Rowe made it 2-0 by the 18th minute. From then on, it was a matter of managing the game, and while Leicester dominated the possession and the chances in the second half, Ben White and Co. were resilient and thus held on for the win.

This result saw Arteta set an incredible feat. Since taking over at the Emirates Stadium, the Spaniard has overseen three trips to the King Power Stadium. All of those visits ended in victories for the north London giants, making him the first Arsenal manager to register three consecutive away wins against Leicester since 1925.

Despite this, all the plaudits went to one man: Aaron Ramsdale. The summer signing started in goal once again, putting in a commanding performance in between the sticks to get a clean sheet, his fifth in eight appearances for his new club.

The former Sheffield shot-stopper made eight saves today, including an outstanding acrobatic effort against a first-half James Maddison free kick, making it the most saves by any keeper in an away game this season in the Premier League. However, that's not all. His eight saves mean that his overall save percentage now stands at 85.7 percent, with only Edouard Mendy (89.7%) boasting a higher figure from goalkeepers who have faced two or more shots on target.

This is what iconic goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel had to say about Ramsdale's fantastic save against Maddison

Arsenal have now temporarily risen to fifth in the table, a remarkable turnaround after finding themselves bottom of the league after Matchweek 3. The Gunners are now preparing for a tough fixtures list as the north London giants will face tricky away tests against Liverpool, Man United, and Everton in their next five fixtures.
