A couple of poor decisions resulted in the Red Devils conceding two early goals in Sunday's classic encounter.

Manchester United fans have hit out at both Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes for the roles they played in their side conceding two goals in the early minutes of Sunday's clash. Two poor decisions made by the pair resulted in Naby Keita and Diogo Jota scoring two goals in a space of eight minutes. The highly anticipated match-up started off with the best chance falling the way of the host.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side created the goalscoring opportunity out of nothing through a swift counter-attacking move. However, nothing came out of the final ball which fell in the path of Bruno Fernandes, with the Portuguese playmaker opting to go for goal despite having a number of his teammates in the penalty box.

Shortly after, Liverpool fashioned their own chance out of United's missed opportunity as Mohamed Salah will subsequently set up Naby Keita for the opening goal of the game in the fifth minute. Eight minutes later, Trent-Alexander-Arnold assisted Diogo Jota for the visitor's second following a defensive blunder by Harry Maguire.
