Mano Menezes' highly-fancied squad proved far too strong for the Asians at Old Trafford.
Brazil will meet Mexico in the final of the men's Olympic Games soccer competition after breezing past a disappointing South Korea 3-0 in front of almost 70,000 fans at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

The South Americans put on a fabulous display, winning the game courtesy of two goals from striker Leandro Damiao and another from midfielder Romulo.

After absorbing early pressure from South Korea, Brazil gradually managed to pick up their game, especially in an offensive sense.

They went ahead in the 38th minute when Romulo slotted home at the near post after receiving a clever ball from new Chelsea signing Oscar.

Brazil, who have scored three goals in each game they have played, dominated their opponents for large periods, and it seemed just a matter of time before they would add their second goal of the night.

In the 57th minute Leandro Damiao doubled their advantage, when he met Neymar's tricky cut-back with a superb finish.

The Internacional striker completely killed the game off in the 64th minute with another clinical finish. It was Damiao's sixth goal of the competition.

Brazil will face Mexico, who beat Japan 3-1 in Tuesday's other semi-final, in Saturday's gold medal final at Wembley Stadium.

Despite having won a record five World Cup titles, Brazil have never won the Olympic Games gold medal before.
