Two unbeaten sides lock horns in the fourth day of action in the CONCACAF Qualifiers. Check out this clash to see who comes out on top!

Mexico, the leader of the ongoing CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers, continue their path to secure a spot in the quadrennial tournament set to be played in Qatar next year when they host one of the most surprising teams in the Qualifiers and who are also unbeaten after three games: Canada.

Mexico get to this game with a record of two wins and one draw, although that record did not come easy for Gerardo Martino's men. El Tri struggled to earn one point against Panama on Matchday 3, where they had to recover from an early mistake by goalie Guillermo Ochoa to claim a point thanks to a crucial goal by Jesús Corona.

Mexico's woes last month were caused by their lack of accuracy in front of goal. Fans and coach Martino himself hope that their scoring problems end with the return of two men: Raúl Jiménez and Hirving Lozano. The Wolverhampton ace returns with El Tri after almost one year, while Lozano makes his comeback after missing out September's international break due to a massive concussion and due to the restrictions imposed by Italy to those who travel to countries where the COVID-19 pandemic has not been controlled. Their return will surely boost Mexico's attack while also giving Canada's defense quite a bit to worry about.

On the other side of the pitch, Canada enter this game in third place of the World Cup Qualifiers with a record of one win and two draws. That win for the Canucks came on Matchday 3, when they took advantage of some sloppy defending by El Salvador to bag three points at BMO Field. Prior to that, John Herdman's men claimed similar one-nil draws against Honduras and the USMNT, with the latter coming away from home.

The main difference for Canada this time around will have to do with Alphonso Davies' presence. Bayern München's left-back will make his debut in the Qualifiers with high hopes for success, and with the help of players such as Jonathan Osorio, Cyle Larin and former Puebla striker Lucas Cavallini, the red and white side will try to claim their first win in a World Cup Qualifying match held over Mexican soil.

History tells us that El Tri has dominated the Canadian side wherever they have met, but that fact escalates when the game takes place in Mexico. In 33 previous games, Mexico have claimed 21 wins, with eight draws, and only four wins for the Canucks. When it comes to World Cup Qualifying matches, Mexico has beaten Canada 12 times, while the Canadian side have only claimed one triumph over El Tri, which took place in the 1978 World Cup Qualifiers.

If history determined the outcome of this game, then Canada would have nothing to fight for here. Nevertheless, the Canucks certainly have a vastly improved squad, and who knows? Maybe we could witness history in the making this Thursday at the legendary Azteca Stadium. No North American side has ever been capable of beating Mexico in a World Cup Qualifier held there...will Canada be the first one?
