The Uruguayan stole the spotlight with his first goal in the Champions League securing them a vital win against AC Milan.

Atletico Madrid came from behind to snatch a remarkable win in Tuesday night's Champions League clash with AC Milan, with Luis Suarez emerging as the hero by scoring the winner. The 34-year-old Uruguayan forward converted a spot-kick at the death to secure the maximum three points for the visitors who had 

Raphael Leao put Milan ahead in the 20th minutes before his side was subsequently handicapped as a result of Frank Kessie's sending off in the 29th minute. It was practically a one-way traffic from that point onwards with Atletico dominanting play but failing to back it with goals. However, Diego Simeone's men finally had their breakthrough with just six minutes of play left as Antoine Griezmann's strike canceled out the goal they conceded earlier.

Owning to the stoppages in the game, the match official proceeded to add six more minutes and it was during the period that a controversial handball call he made saw Atleti secure the penalty. Luis Suarez then stepped up to calmly converts from the spot right at the death, handing Los Rojiblancos their first win of this season's Champions League campaign. Watch:
