The Italian boss was livid after seeing his side throw away a 1-0 lead, thus stretching their winless start to the Serie A season.

Expectations were high when Juventus announced the return of Massimiliano Allegri as fans of the Bianconeri expected the experienced Italian manager to reinstate the club back at the top of Italian football after a rough 2020/21 campaign under Andrea Pirlo.

However, the 54-year-old's second spell at the club has not gotten off to a great start. The Old Lady have played four games so far but are yet to win a single Serie A match this term, which is the first time this has occurred in 60 years.

With that in mind, it was understandable to see Allegri fuming after the 1-1 draw with AC Milan over the weekend. Juventus hosted their bitter rivals on Sunday and despite taking an early lead though Alvaro Morata, the Turin outfit conceded an equalizer and were thus forced to share the points.

However, Allegri's reaction after the final whistle was eye-catching nonetheless . The Italian boss was caught on camera in a foul-mouthed rant as he walked down the tunnel, slamming his players for throwing away their one-goal lead.

"F***'s sake! You are playing for Juventus!" the Allianz Stadium boss yelled as he stormed off the pitch.

While the gaffer shouldered the blame for his "mistakes on the substitutions", having brought on three attackers despite defending a lead, he was left infuriated by the players' lack of defensive determination.

"I will admit that I made mistakes on the substitutions," Allegri added after the game. "I got it wrong. I should have put more defensive players on and put the 1-0 lead under lock and key. I take responsibility for that.

"If you don't realize that you must put all personal issues aside, work as a full-back even if you're a striker, then you won't bring these results home. All we'll remember is that we threw away two points."
