The 36-year-old did not disappoint in his second debut for the Red Devils, producing a two-goal haul en route to a 4-1 victory.

All eyes were on Cristiano Ronaldo in Man United's showdown with Newcastle, and the Portuguese icon did not disappoint!

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner made his second debut for the Red Devils in this Old Trafford tie after returning early from the international break, being named in Solskjaer's starting eleven for the Magpies showdown. Forty-seven minutes is what the 36-year-old needed to get off the mark, scoring a poacher's goal two minutes into added time for the first half.

That lovely goal saw him set an excellent feat for his Premier League side, becoming the oldest Red Devils player to score for the club since Ryan Giggs in February 2013. The Theatre of Dreams crowd enjoyed that effort as the home fans chanted "SIUUU" out loud in honor of the club legend.

However, Ronaldo did not stop there obviously. Newcastle pulled level shortly before the hour-mark and just as they began dreaming of earning a point at Old Trafford, CR7 killed all their hopes, scoring his second of the day. And with that, he grabbed another accolade, becoming the oldest player to score a brace in the English top-flight since Graham Alexander for Burnley back in April 2010 (39y 86d).

From then on, Man United turned up a gear and strolled past the opposition, with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard completing a 4-1 riot. Paul Pogba continued his excellent start to the season, dishing out another two assists.
