Marcelo Bielsa's men continue their quest for their first win of the season, but getting it against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool could prove trickier than expected.

After what turned out to be a controversial international break for Premier League teams, the English top-flight returns to action with quite a few exciting games. One of those will be the only fixture scheduled for Sunday, when Leeds United welcome Liverpool for the second time since their return to the top-tier category of English football.

Leeds return to Elland Road trying to claim their first victory of the competition. As of now, Marcelo Bielsa's men lost their first match of the season against Manchester United (1-5), while the others against Everton (2-2) and Burnley (1-1) ended in draws. The Whites have divided their efforts by having three different players scoring their goals and handing out assists for those. Striker Patrick Bamford has contributed to the cause with one goal and an assist. This will be Leeds' second home game of the season.

On the other hand, Liverpool is one of five teams to have collected seven points in the season, product of two wins and a draw. Klopp's men were off to a great start by beating Norwich (3-0) and Burnley (2-0). Their last match before the International Break ended in a one-all draw against Chelsea despite playing the entire second half against ten men. After those three games, striker Mohamed Salah has established himself as the most influential player for the Reds, with two goals and two assists to his name this season.

The International Break could still give Liverpool and Leeds a bit of a headache, since those players that were called up by their National Teams and were not allowed to join them due to the COVID-19 rules applied in the U.K. are yet to know if they will be available. Hence, Liverpool's list of absences could add Alisson Becker, Fabinho, and Roberto Firmino in case he recover from a muscular problem. As for Leeds, midfielder Raphinha could face a similar suspension.
