Here's a brief insight into Chelsea's eleven players which will likely take the field in the Champions League final at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

GK: Petr Cech (12 games, 0 goals)

The Czech was in stunning form in the semi-finals against Barcelona, and was much of the reason why Chelsea advanced to the final. The 1.98-metre tall goalkeeper could possibly be the busiest player on the field on Saturday.

CB: Gary Cahill (4 games, 0 goals)

Cahill recently affirmed that he will be fit to start the final, and if this is the case he could be very important for Chelsea, especially because all of their defensive concerns ahead of the final.

CB: David Luiz (10 games, 1 goal)

It is unsure as to whether the Brazilian will feature in Munich, after pulling his hamstring in the FA Cup semi-finals, but in the absence of captain John Terry, if he manages to recover in time he would be of great benefit to the Blues.

LB: Ashley Cole (11 games, 0 goals)

Having struggled to find his form at the beginning of the season, Cole was one of Chelsea's best players against Barcelona, and the left-back will be hoping to put on another brilliant display against the Bavarians.

RB: Jose Bosingwa (10 games, 0 goals)

In the absence of Branislav Ivanovic, Bosingwa should start at right-back for the Blues. The Portuguese defender was called upon to slot in at centre-half when Terry received his marching orders against Barcelona, and did a fine job.

DM: Frank Lampard (11 games, 3 goals)

The England international will receive the honour to be Chelsea's captain in the final, and will be hoping to reproduce his outstanding performances from both legs of the semi-finals. Lampard is Chelsea's symbol and should lead the Blues by example at the Allianz Arena.

DM: John Mikel Obi (8 games, 0 goals)

There's no question that the Nigerian hasn't been in top form in recent games, but he will still likely feature in the final. Despite often resorting to dangerous tackling, Mikel has been blessed with exceptional vision, which could help Chelsea open up what has often been a leaky Bayern defence.

AM: Salomon Kalou (6 games, 2 goals)

Like most of Chelsea's players, Kalou has returned to his best since the arrival of Roberto Di Matteo. Although it has yet to be confirmed, the midfielder has great possibilities of starting the final. Despite making only six Champions League appearances this season, the 26-year-old has managed to score two goals, including the winning goal in the first leg of the quarter-finals against Benfica.

AM: Juan Mata (11 games, 2 goals)

The Spaniard has been one of Chelsea's best signings of the season, and will surely be one of their greatest threats in the final against the Germans. Despite being rather quiet against Barca, Mata has all of the required talent to cause havoc in the attacking third.

AM: Daniel Sturridge (7 games, 0 goals)

Filling the shoes of Brazilian international Ramires will be a difficult task for Sturridge, but it seems that Di Matteo has confidence in him, even if the attacker has yet to score in seven Champions League games this season.

CF: Didier Drogba (7 games, 5 goals)

Despite being 34 years old, Drogba still has plenty to offer to Chelsea as he proved against Barcelona. Not only was he clearly a handful in both legs, due to his determination and fighting spirit, but he also managed to find the back of the net, for his fifth goal of the competition. The Bayern defence will surely dread marking the veteran.
