What are some of the big games to catch during this latest installment of CONMEBOL's 2022 World Cup qualifiers?

September 2nd

Venezuela vs Argentina: Given that Venezuela have had a torrid time so far, this game will present a great chance for newly-crowned Copa America winners Argentina to get some much needed points on the board as they look to try to close some of the gap between themselves and table leaders Brazil.

Chile vs Brazil: Brazil have been in imperious form so far, picking up six wins from six and cruising along nicely towards a spot at next year's World Cup. Chile, by contrast, have failed to fire, with the two-time Copa America winners languishing in a disappointing seventh place after winning just one of their six games so far. However, if they can become the first to nick points off Brazil, La Roja could put themselves back in contention for a qualifying berth.

Peru vs Uruguay: Uruguay have been solid but not spectacular, as they've split their six games evenly - two wins, two draws, and two losses to date. They've also scored the same number of goals they've conceded (seven). Peru, meanwhile, sit bottom of the table, having won just one match and have conceded 14 times - the joint-worst alongside Bolivia.

September 5th

Brazil vs Argentina: It's always a classic when these two South American footballing giants go head to head, and it'll certainly be an interesting rematch from this summer's Copa America final. Will Messi and Neymar, now teammates once again at PSG, prove to be the protagonists for their respective sides?
