The Bundesliga returns this weekend with the defending champions looking to reclaim top spot after a slow start.

Matchday 2 of the Bundesliga saw Wolfsburg defeating Hertha BSC by two goals to one to climb to the top of the league table. The Wolves are the only team in the competition to have recorded two wins from the two games they have featured in so far. Aside from the Volkswagen Arena outfit, only four other clubs are unbeaten in the league so far.

Defending champions Bayern Munich are among those who are yet to record losses after beating Koln 3-2 to bounce back from their 1-1 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach. In contrast, the latter fell to a 4-0 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen after holding Die Roten on matchday 1. Rivals Borussia Dortmund fell to a disappointing 2-1 loss at Freiburg whereas title favorites RB Leipzig cruised to an emphatic 4-0 victory over Stuttgart.
