Paramount+ wastes no time delivering exciting soccer matches to its subscribers, with the OTT (over-the-top) streaming service bringing the action to the screen on the first day of 2025.
New Year's Day is all about the EFL Championship, with all but two of the 13 live matches available on Wednesday being English second-flight fixtures.
Thursday and Friday will see Paramount+ stream one live game per day, with those two matches being the Supercoppa Italiana semifinals. This tournament gets underway on Thursday with Inter Milan vs Atalanta, with either Juventus or AC Milan meeting the winner of the previous clash in the grand finale.
That Supercoppa Italiana final is scheduled for Monday but there is a lot on offer this weekend, with Serie A and the Scottish Premiership being the two top-flight European leagues available on Saturday and Sunday.
Second-placed Napoli visit Fiorentina on Saturday with the hope of overtaking current leaders Atalanta while Roma and Lazio reignite their rivalry in Sunday's Derby della Capitale. Wrapping up this list is yet another Championship showdown, with QPR hosting Luton Town in the curtain closer.
