The Blaugrana side are desperate to offload players to give way for Messi's new deal, and the French star would be willing to leave the club to this destination.

Barcelona's well documented financial problems have forced the Blaugrana outfit to execute extreme measures to balance their statements, which will give them way to sign Lionel Messi one more time.

With that in mind, the club has reportedly started to offer some of their highest earners to other clubs to give them salary cap space. One of those names is none other than Antoine Griezmann, who has been involved in quite a few controversies in the past few days.

Aware of the backlash the club could face if they keep the player around, the Blaugrana side has started to offer the player to Premier League teams, and Chelsea have been named as the team that would be willing to hire the French footballer.

Sources close to these discussions suggest that Barcelona would be ready to accept a bit over $50M for the player's transfer, which would mean less than half of what they paid Atlético to hire the footballer. Regarding the player, Griezmann would reportedly be keen on leaving Los Culés to join the Blues since the Premier League is attractive enough to him to see that deal through.

Now, the main thing for the Blaugrana side will be to strike a deal with the Blues as soon as possible to make way for Messi's new deal. Nevertheless, Chelsea do not seem worried about how much time they could take to seal the deal, which may cause problems for both the club and Griezmann.
