The pair surprised everyone with their antics during La Albiceleste's penalty shootout victory over Colombia in the Copa America semi-finals.

Argentina's Copa America semi-final showdown with Colombia was one of the most anticipated game of this week, alongside Italy vs Spain in the Euro 2020, and fortunately for all the eager fans across the globe tuning in, that South American showdown did not disappoint.

The two CONMEBOL powerhouses locked horns for a spot in the final, with Brazil simply awaiting their challenger in the curtain closer having securing progression the day earlier. All eyes were on Lionel Messi's side as the Barcelona icon continues his search for his first major international trophy, and it didn't take too long for La Albiceleste to take the lead, with the six-time Ballon d'Or winner setting up Lautaro Martinez for the opening goal after only seven minutes of play.

However, as has been the case with Lionel Scaloni's side throughout the tournament, after scoring an early goal, the Argentines slowly saw the game slip from their grip, with Colombia mounting on the pressure until eventually finding the equalizer at the hour mark. Luis Diaz profited from a lapse in concentration from Otamendi and Co. and slotted the ball into the back of the net from a tight angle courtesy of a quickly-taken free kick.

Both sides had opportunities to win the game during the 90 minutes but the scoreline remained 1-1 until the final whistle, with penalty shootouts being called to determine the winner. Here is where the antics went into overdrive.

Argentina goalkeeper Emi Martinez, who led his nation to victory by saving three of the four spot kicks he faced, began taunting the opposition in an attempt to get into their head. One player who fell victim to this was Colombian and Everton center-back Yerry Mina, with the Aston Villa shot-stopper telling the defender: "You look scared".

"That ball looks big for you...I know you...You're nervous, I can see you're nervous...I know where you're going to shoot... chickens**t..." Martinez added. This tactic proved successful as he stopped Mina's attempt, sparking this hilarious celebration from the former Arsenal player.

It didn't end there as the Colombian's failed attempt sparked a taunt from Albiceleste captain Lionel Messi, with the Barca icon yelling at the defender "How about dancing now?" in reference to Yerry's over-the-top celebration after his successful penalty against Uruguay in the quarter-finals. After the game, Leo was full of praise for Martinez, hailing the goalkeeper as a "phenomenon". The two-time World Cup-winning nation are pumped up for the final, where they will be taking on Brazil in a highly-anticipated showdown with their bitter rivals.
