The Real Madrid superstar, who accuses PSG of owing him unpaid wages, has taken this fight to the LFP and UEFA.

Kylian Mbappe has officially sealed his dream move to Real Madrid, both scoring and winning the UEFA Super Cup trophy in his Los Blancos debut. However, the French superstar has unfinished business with former employers PSG.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is said to be in dispute with the Ligue 1 giants over alleged unpaid wages worth €55M ($61M), and according to Le Monde, the player has taken this fight to the LFP and UEFA.

According to the Real Madrid sensation, he was not paid for the final three months of his PSG stay. Additionally, the 25-year-old claims to be owed a €36M signing bonus plus an additional "ethical bonus".

The attacker's advisors sent PSG a formal notice back in June and have now upped the ante. According to Le Monde, Mbappe does not wish to cause a stir but the Bleus captain has moved things up a gear, referring this dispute to the legal committee of the Professional Football League (LFP).

Additionally, through the French Football Federation (FFF), the player has also reached out to UEFA over this matter. Kylian could also put forward a case to France's labor court.

PSG deny Mbappe's allegations, claiming that their former forward made commitments to forfeit those payments if he left the Parc des Princes for free, which the goalscorer eventually did.

Nonetheless, the French giants could find themselves in hot water over this situation. The LFP's legal committee have the authority to slap PSG with a transfer ban until this dispute is resolved while UEFA could revoke the team's license in continental competition unless the French giants prove they do not owe the player those wages. The latter punishment would deny Luis Enrique's side participation in the UEFA Champions League.

With the UEFA Champions League group stage draw taking place on August 29, PSG's lawyers will be working hard to ensure their participation in this season's tournament. Meanwhile, the 2024-25 Ligue 1 season kicked off on Friday, with Les Parisiens thrashing Le Havre 4-1 to commence their title defense in the best possible manner.
