With eight teams left, the first knockout rounds of the 2024 Olympic Games Women's Soccer Tournament are now set to get underway.

La Roja are making their first ever appearance at an Olympic Games this summer, but have already impressed so far as they earned three wins out of their three group stage matches. As for Colombia, they have had mixed results in this competition, but did just enough to secure a spot in the knockout rounds.

At 1 PM EST (10 AM PST), reigning Olympic champions Canada will look to put all their bad press firmly behind them as they face Germany. Although they won their first two games, Canada were docked six points for their involvement in a spying scandal, which nearly had them on the brink of an early exit. However, despite that, they battled to a 1-0 win over Colombia in their final match in order to set up a match against Germany after pipping Colombia to second in their group. Germany, for their part, were humiliated 4-1 by the USWNT on matchday two, but thanks to wins over Australia and Zambia, were able to also earn a ticket to this juncture.

Finally, hosts France will face Brazil in the fourth quarter-finals match that will take place at 3 PM EST (12 PM PST). PSG striker Marie-Antoinette has scored five of France's six goals in this competition and certainly will be looking to add more to her tally against a Brazil side who will not be able to rely on veteran attacker Marta after she received a red card in her team's 2-0 loss to Spain.
