The second round of matches in the Soccer tournament could unveil the first teams to make the next round. Follow all fixtures with this guide.

The first games in the Olympic Soccer competition left a few talking points to discuss, and now, as we head into the second round of matches, we could be witnessing some of the teams already booking their spots to play in the next round.

France, Japan, Morocco, and Argentina were the main protagonists of the first day, with the first three claiming wins in their opening games. Nonetheless, the world's attention was caught by the Argentines, who lost to Morocco in controversial fashion and started to complain about issues away from the pitch to gain a bit of sympathy for their cause.

Speaking of Les Bleus, the team coached by Thierry Henry emerged victorious against the USMNT. Winning another game on Saturday could see them claim a spot in the next round, and that will be the proper thing to look for when they lock horns against Guinea at Stade de Nice.

Another team to keep an eye on will be Spain, who were able to win three points in their first match of the competition, but they will need to be at the top of their game to repeat that win against the highly-motivated Dominican Republic squad.

Before we go any further, here are the standings for all groups in the Olympic Soccer competition.
