With Euro 2024 and the Copa America coming to an end over the weekend, the focus now shifts back to club football, with some of the biggest teams in the world returning to action over the next six days.
This includes several Premier League giants, who will begin their preseason tour in the USA during the weekend or midweek. Tottenham, who have played twice since the 2023-24 English top-flight ended, take to the pitch first, albeit in London, facing fellow English club Queens Park Rangers this Saturday live on SpursPlay and QPR+.
Manchester United, meanwhile, lock horns with Rangers an hour after Tottenham's game kicks off, taking on the Scottish giants in Edinburgh. This is the Red Devils' final friendly before jetting off to the USA to face bitter rivals Arsenal at SoFi Stadium and Liverpool at William Brice Stadium.
Speaking of Arsenal, the Gunners kick off their USA tour with a Wednesday clash against Bournemouth in California before locking horns with Manchester United. Both games will be live-streamed on ESPN+. Mikel Arteta's side will be without several key players due to Euro 2024 and Copa America, which means an opportunity for their academy players.
Arsenal vs. Bournemouth is not the only ESPN+ fixture to make our list. Fellow Premier League powerhouses Chelsea and Manchester City will also be in action on ESPN's over-the-top subscription video streaming service, with the Blues facing Wrexham on Wednesday (also live on ESPN Deportes) and Guardiola's outfit taking on Celtic (also on ESPN2 USA, ESPN Deportes, Celtic TV, and CITY+) that same day.
And last but not least, we have Wednesday's MLS All-Star Game, with the U.S. top flight's best players locking horns with the Liga MX All-Star team. Inter Miami's iconic trio Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Luis Suarez have all made the roster but it remains unclear whether the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner will be fit to feature after suffering an injury in the Copa America final.
