Over three million average viewers witnessed Los Blancos' 2-0 victory over Dortmund at Wembley, a six percent increase on last season's UEFA Champions League final's viewership.

Last week was all about the UEFA Champions League final as Real Madrid beat Dortmund 2-0 in the ultimate game at Wembley to lift the coveted title for a record-extending 15th time.

Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior scored the decisive goals in a match that garnered fantastic viewership numbers in the USA thanks to CBS, Univision, and TUDN.

A total of 3.62 million viewers across those three television networks caught this season's UEFA Champions League in the USA, earning the fixture a 1.4 rating and making it the most-watched sporting event in the entire nation on Saturday, June 1, 2024. This is up 6% from last season's viewership numbers, with 3.42 million tuning in to Manchester City's 1-0 victory over Inter Milan to secure the Cityzens the treble.

The bulk of those figures came from CBS, which earned 2.32 million viewers and a rating of 0.9. As a result, this became the third most-watched UEFA Champions League final on English-language television on record in the USA, sitting behind Liverpool vs. Real Madrid in 2022 (2.76M) and Barcelona vs. Manchester United on FOX in 2011 (2.58M).

Furthermore, just over 1.3 million average viewers caught the action across TelevisaUnivision's Spanish-language television networks Univision (1.3M) and TUDN (354,000). However, the UEFA Champions League was not the only continental final to make the list of most-watched soccer games in the USA for May 27-June 2, 2024.

The Concacaf Champions Cup final between Pachuca and Columbus Crew also made the cut, with just over half a million average viewers witnessing the Liga MX side win 3-0 on UniMas. Salomón Rondón scored a brace in that fixture to secure Los Tuzos their sixth title in this competition.
