The Ghanaian talent scored a sensational goal at the Etihad Stadium in the Cityzens' decisive final game of the season versus the Hammers.

West Ham ace Mohammed Kudus has just scored a 2023-24 Premier League Goal of the Season contender against Manchester City to hand Arsenal a huge lifeline in the title race on Championship Sunday.

The final round of the English top-flight campaign got underway on Sunday, with the Hammers visiting the Etihad Stadium in one of 10 simultaneous kick-offs. Unfortunately for David Moyes' men and Arsenal, who hope to pip the Cityzens to the title, Guardiola's side marched into an early 2-0 lead.

Premier League Player of the Season Phil Foden broke the deadlock after only two minutes before completing his brace by the 18th minute. 22 minutes later, Arsenal went 1-0 down at home to Everton.

However, around the same time the Gunners equalized against the Toffees through a lovely Takehiro Tomiyasu goal, West Ham pulled one back at the Etihad Stadium through a sensational Mohammed Kudus effort.

The Ghanaian, who has already scored several bangers this term, scored past City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega through an unstoppable overhead kick which left Guardiola infuriated and Arsenal fans ecstatic. Check out that wonderful goal in the clips below (videos are geo-restricted).

While this wondergoal is a lifeline, Arteta's men still need to beat Everton and hope Manchester City either draw or lose at home to West Ham. Only time will tell if both of those things will occur.
